I was a theatre student in college, and have therefore had a foundational training in acting, ranging from commedia dell'arte to Stanislavski and realism, Meisner, Strasberg, stage combat, voice and movement, improvisation, etc. Most recently, I have acted as Aline in Kathalyst's A Marriage Has Been Arranged and as Iti in Arena Theatre Productions' Tumhaare Baare Main, a Hindi play written by Manav Kaul. In college, I performed as Mrs Higgins in Lerner and Loewe's My Fair Lady in 2025 as a student, and in 2026 as alumni. Recently in November I also portrayed the role of Hecuba in Euripides's The Trojan Women, and as Aliza in You and Me and The Moon, an original play. In college, I participated in classic plays like Nikolai Gogol's The Government Inspector, portraying Anna Andreyevna and Eugene Ionesco's The Lesson, portraying The Professor."Life beats down and crushes the soul and art reminds you that you have one", as Stella Adler said. I've wanted to be an actor since a very young age. It was a dream of mine, and I decided to turn it into reality when I entered college. Though I started off as closed and self conscious, I've become much more confident over the years. I love getting to play different people and making lives of their own. I find my passion in creating, collaborating with other people. Art is powerful, and especially a form of it like acting, that has the ability to bring so many people together. I'll admit that my acting has improved remarkably since the time I first entered college, when I had a severe lack of confidence and didn't think I was worth anything. Acting empowers me, it makes me feel like I belong.
